Jane Hissey Signed Books

Sussex author and illustrator Jane Hissey is best known for her ‘Old Bear’ series of books, which were also made into a BAFTA-winning television series. Her beautiful illustrations of Old Bear and his soft toy friends are stunningly detailed, and have been loved by generations of children. Jane was one of the first authors to visit our shop when we first opened, over 35 years ago, and it is wonderful to be able to offer signed copies of her books.

Note: Recently the publishers of Jane’s books, Salarya Publishing, closed their doors. Sadly we now only have a few of her books left in stock – copies of Ruby and the Naughty Cats, Jolly Snow and Little Bear’s Colours (board book). We are hoping that there will soon be a new publisher for her lovely books.
