William Shaw Signed Books

Brighton-based thriller writer William Shaw’s novels have been nominated for a Barry Award, the Golden Bullet, and the CWA Historical Dagger.
His Breen & Tozer series, set in the gritty world of 1960’s London, was hailed as “an elegy for an entire alienated generation.”
His newer series featuring DS Alexandra Cupidi opened with ‘Salt Lane’, an atmospheric mystery set on the bleak, windswept border of East Sussex and Kent. The latest book in this series is the brilliantly-plotted, thoughtful ‘Grave’s End’.
Before becoming a crime writer, William Shaw was an award-winning music journalist and the author of several non-fiction books including Westsiders: Stories of the Boys in the Hood, about a year spent with the young men of South Central Los Angeles. He can also be occasionally spotted playing mandolin as part of Brighton Ceilidh Collective!
